This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes our use of the personal information we collect through the evntstack.com and eventtechstack.com websites, the Event Tech Stack event platform, event registration sites, attendee event hubs, administrative dashboards, and our mobile and kiosk applications, including Event Tech Stack, ETS Host and Event Tech Stack Kiosk, as well as related websites, online services, and content (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Event Tech Stack, LLC, and any parent, subsidiary, or affiliate (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “ETS”).

The Services allow you to register for and participate in live streaming, recorded, and in-person events (each an “Event”) organized by the users (each an “Event Organizer”) of ETS’s online event management platform (“Platform”).

By submitting your personal information to us you consent to our collection, use, sharing, and transfer of your personal information as described in this Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by terminating your use of the Services, although this does not affect personal information we previously collected from or about you. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, or do not consent to our collection, use, sharing, or transfer of your personal information as described in this Policy, you may not use the Services, and you should not submit any personal information to us.

This Policy is incorporated into, and is a part of, the Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) located at eventtechstack.com/terms-and-conditions, which govern the Services. Our liability arising out of this Policy, or from any breach hereof, is subject to the limitations of liability stated in the Terms of Use.

What Does this Policy Cover?

This Policy applies to any of your personal information that is protected under applicable state or federal laws, or laws foreign jurisdictions, which govern the protection of individuals’ personal information to the extent such laws apply to your use of the Services (“Data Protection Laws”). As used herein, “personal information” has the meaning of personal information, personal data, or similar term defined in the applicable Data Protection Laws. This Policy applies to all users of the Services, whether or not you use the Services to register for an Event.

• Cover any anonymized or aggregated information, or other information that does not directly identify you, and which cannot be used with other information to identify you. When we anonymized or aggregate information, we can use it and share it with third parties for any purpose in our sole discretion.
• Apply to any of our websites, mobile sites, applications, or products and services that have their own separate privacy policies, or to any relationships we may have with you outside of the Services.
• Apply to your use of an Event Organizer’s or any other third party’s websites, mobile sites, applications, third-party features and functions, or products and services, even if you access them via the Services.
• Apply to payment card and other billing information collected by a third-party payment processor, or an Event Organizer or its payment processor. We do not collect your billing information.
• Apply to information you choose to communicate to other users during an Event, including your name or other identification.
• Cover any ideas, suggestions, or comments you submit to or about the Services, which we may use for any purposes in our sole discretion.

What Personal Information Do We Collect?

We collect the following personal information:

• Personal identification information, such as your first name, last name, and email address, and phone number if you select the option for text notifications.
• Other information that Event Organizers ask us to collect, such as your organization, title, and other personal information, and consent and release forms.
• Your company name and your title.
• Your video engagement time and other analytics.
• Anonymized geographic information.
• Information using cookies and other electronic technologies.

How Do We Collect Your Personal Information?

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect your personal information when:

• You register for Events.
• You participate in an Event.
• You use the Services, we use cookies, JSON web tokens, and other electronic technologies to collect information from you, and we collect site usage and engagement records for analytics.
• You correspond with us.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

‍

We use the personal information we collect from and about you so we can:

• Create your registration.
• Let you access an Event.
• Enable you to use the features available on or through the Services.
• Email you, or communicate with you via the Services, or to respond to your inquiries or comments.
• Analyze data to understand your usage and engagement with the Services, your location and the devices you use.
• Enforce this Policy, the Terms of Use, and our other policies and agreements, enforce the use and conduct restrictions under the Terms of Use, and monitor your use of the Services and compliance with terms posted on the Services.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual requirements.
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
• Develop and improve our products and services.

How Do We Share Your Personal Information?

We only share your personal information as follows:

• Event Organizers: We share information with the Event Organizers whose events you attend. Event Organizers’ use of your information is governed by their privacy policies, not this Policy.
• Third-party service providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include hosting the Services, payment processors (if applicable), and services for analyzing data (such as Google Analytics to analyze how users interact with the Services). These third-party service providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
• Business transfers: If ETS is purchased, or there is a merger or sale of our assets, or similar transaction, your personal information will be transferred, but will remain subject to this Policy as in effect before such transfer, unless you consent otherwise.
• Protection of us and others: We release personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our agreements with you; or protect the rights, property, privacy, or safety of ETS, our users, or others.

How Do We Safeguard Your Personal Information?

• We securely store your personal information on our hosting provider’s servers.
• We maintain physical, technical, and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage, and disclosure of personal information. We require third parties to encrypt your personal information when it is stored on servers.
• We also require by contract that third party service providers acting on our behalf, or with whom we share your personal information, to implement security and confidentiality measures.

It is important for you to protect your devices, computers, and applications against unauthorized access.

How Do We Retain and Delete Your Personal Information?

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it is collected, including legitimate business reasons and legal and regulatory requirements. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your personal information. Generally, we keep your personal information as long as we need your personal information for our legitimate business purposes.

You may request us to delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at  help@evntstack.com, however we may maintain your personal information for the purposes above and for other legitimate business purposes, such as:

• Information to enforce this Policy, the Terms of Use, and our other policies and agreements.
• If there is an unresolved claim or dispute.
• Fraud prevention.
• To prevent you from registering for future Events if, for example, we terminate your access because of violations of the Terms of Use or other policies.

If you have these rights under applicable Data Protection Laws, you are entitled to the following:

• The right to access. You have the right to know whether or not we are processing your personal information, the purpose and other information about that processing, and to request access to or copies of your personal information.
• The right to rectification. You have the right to request us to correct any personal information you believe is inaccurate, and request us to complete personal information you believe is incomplete. At our discretion in order to correct information we may delete your registration.
• The right to erasure. You have the right to request that we erase your personal information, under certain conditions described in applicable Data Protection Laws. At our discretion in order to erase information we may delete your registration.
• The right to restrict processing. You have the right to request that we restrict processing of your personal information, under the conditions described in applicable Data Protection Laws. At our discretion in order to restrict processing we may delete your registration.
• The right to object to processing. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal information, under the conditions described in applicable Data Protection Laws.
• The right to data portability. You have the right to request us to transfer your personal information to another organization, or directly to you, under the conditions described in applicable Data Protection Laws.

Data Controller and Processor Roles

Event Tech Stack generally acts as a data processor on behalf of Event Organizers, who act as the data controllers for personal data collected through Events.

Event Organizers determine what personal data is collected and how it is used. If you have questions about how an Event Organizer uses your personal data, please review their privacy policy or contact them directly.

International Data Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your jurisdiction, including the United States.

Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

What Rights Do California Residents Have?

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We are required to alert you how our websites react to Do Not Track signals. Some browsers support a “Do Not Track” feature, which is intended to be a signal to websites that you do not wish to be tracked across different websites you visit. The Services do not currently change the way they operate based upon detection of a Do Not Track or similar signal.
